With the British Museum citole as a model, carvings on medieval instruments can be appropriate and fanciful. My carvings are either low relief decoration on a flat surface, or three dimensional carvings on the peg head. Requests for customized carvings are welcomed. My citoles are always decorated, and this is incorporated in the cost. Low relief carvings: $30 Three dimensional carvings: $75 (must be specified at the time of the order)
