This fydell was built in the spring of 2007 at the request of several clients who expressed interest in a larger, lower pitched fydell.  Its three strings are tuned G, D, A, as the lowest strings of a violin.  This instrument has a string length of 40 cm and a body length of 37 cm.  A baby owl in our backyard inspired the design of the head.
